SMS Terms of Service

Cedar Trial Guide operates two separate text messaging programs, and you may opt in to either, both, or neither.

Account notifications. Confirmation that your inquiry was received, the status of a courtesy introduction you asked for, and updates about the study areas you told us you were interested in. Expected frequency is about 2 to 6 messages per month.

Marketing messages. Newly opened study areas, plain-language guides, and announcements about this resource. Expected frequency is about 2 to 8 messages per month.

You opt in by entering your mobile number on our contact page and checking the box for the program you want. Both boxes are unchecked by default and are never pre-selected. Each program has its own checkbox and they are never combined. A phone number is never required, and consent is never a condition of using this website, of receiving any guide, or of the courtesy coordination service.

After you opt in, your first message will identify Cedar Trial Guide, describe what the program sends, state the message frequency, note that Msg & data rates may apply, confirm that you can reply STOP to cancel, and confirm that Cedar Trial Guide is not a research organization or a healthcare provider.

Cedar Trial Guide does not charge for these messages. Msg & data rates may apply according to your plan with your wireless carrier.

Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. Your request is processed immediately and added to our server side opt-out list, and you will receive one confirmation message. After that confirmation, no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. You can also email support@cedartrialguide.com or call +1 (307) 925-3703 to be removed.

The programs are available on major United States wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to network conditions outside of our control.

Your mobile information and consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We do not transfer your details to any research organization, study sponsor, drug development company, or outside marketer. If you request a courtesy introduction, your contact details are shared only with that one independent program, only for that introduction, and only after you have been told who they are and have separately agreed. Messages contain general opportunity and account information only. We do not send health information, diagnosis details, or anything that identifies a condition, and we never ask you to send that information back to us by text.

You must be 18 years of age or older and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you submit.

We may update these SMS Terms of Service. The updated date at the top of this page shows the most recent change. Material changes to a program will be described before they take effect.
